Doondh rahi thi tumhe meri aankhen, soch rahi thi na jaane tum kab aayoge.
Phir ek ajeeb si jalan hui, laga kahi tum uski aagosh mein to nahi
Kyon uska khayal dil ko cheer deta hai baar baar

A Memo From a Child to a Parent

Don't spoil me. I know quite well that I ought not to have all I ask for, I'm only testing you.
Don't be afraid to be firm with me. I prefer it, it makes me feel secure.
Don't let me form bad habits. I have to rely on you to detect them in a early stage.
Don't make me feel smaller then I am. It only makes me behave stupidly "big"
Don't correct me in front of people, if you can help it. I`ll take much more notice if you talk quietly with me in private.
Don't make me feel that my mistakes are sins. It upsets my sense of values.
Don't protect me from consequences. I need to learn the painful way sometimes.
Don't be too upset when I say "I hate you". Sometimes it isn't you I hate but your power over me.
Don`t take too much notice of my ailments. Sometimes they get me attention I don't need.
Don`t nag. If you do, I shall have to protect myself by being deaf.
Don`t forget that I cannot explain myself as well as I should like. That's why I am not always accurate.
Don`t put me off when I ask questions. If you do you'll find that I stop asking and seek my information elsewhere.
Don`t be inconsistent. That completely confuses me and makes me lose faith in you.
Don`t tell me my fears are silly. They are terribly real and you can do much to reassure me if you try to understand.
Don`t ever suggest that you are perfect or infallible. It gives me too great a shock when I discover that your neither.
Don`t ever think that it is beneath your dignity to apologize to me. An honest apology makes me surprisingly warm towards you.
Don`t forget I love experimenting. I couldn't get along without it, so please put up with it.
Don`t forget how quickly I am growing up. It must be difficult for you to keep pace with me, but please try to.
Don`t forget that I don't thrive without lots of love and understanding, but I don't need to tell you that do I?

Hasta huya dekh kar log kehte hain ke hum gam se khali hain,

par unhe kya pata ke jo gam ke baag hain, hum us baag ke mali hain

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sitaron ko gin kar dikhana mushkil he,
kismat me jo likha ho use mitana mushkil he,
hume aapki jarurat ho ya na ho par ehmiyat apki lafzo me jatana mushkil hai!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SAPNO SE DIL LAGANE KI AADAT NAHI RAHI,
HAR WAQT MUSKURANE KI AADAT NAHI RAHI,
YE SOCH KE KI KOI MANAANE NAHI AAYEGA,
AB HUME ROOTH JAANE KI AADAT NAHI RAHI

How much looks matter in selecting a Perfect Bride?

The contestant Priyanka Sharma is not bad at looks but she is not a beauty too in Star Plus' Reality Show "Lux Perfect Bride". Even many girls are more beautiful than her in the show. Many viewers had opinion that Rajbeer, who is quite handsome and dashing guy, should have chosen any other girl instead of her (although it does not matter now). Shuchitra had same complaint that grooms went behind the looks but they denied it. It brings a question that how much looks matter in selecting a life partner?

We all have a sense of what’s beautiful and what isn’t. All of us can appreciate a sunset, the view from the top of a hill, a TajMahal, or Madhuri Dixit’s smile. To say that looks don’t matter is to deny that we should care about beauty.
The question we need to ask is, when do looks matter?

Beauty matters in the first moment of a relationship: attraction. Let’s say you go to a party; you’re the third person there. You see two people of the opposite sex: you’ve never met either of them before. The only thing you know is that one person is physically attractive, and the other isn’t. Neither of them has seen you yet. The question is, who would you rather get to know first? For the moment, don’t think about how you fear they might respond (or not) to you. Just think about who you would be instinctively wanted to get to know. Hands up if it’s the most physically attractive person!?

This is where looks matter. This gives the physically attractive person the advantage: they have a greater choice of potential partners; they can beat hopeful suitors off with a stick. Once contact has been made, the impact of physical appearance begins to lose its power. Personality and character become more important.This is where Rajbeer had upper hand, where half of girls seems to be interested in him only and its may be here Shuchitra Lost as no one try to find out about her.

Attraction is like the sensation of being in love (which isn’t the same as loving someone). Being in love is a neurochemical reaction which lasts for up to two years. After then, if you don’t build a relationship on something more solid – like your character – the relationship will fail. Physical attraction may bring us into a relationship – but physical attraction won’t be enough to keep that relationship alive. By the time most people realize this, the relationship is over and the next pretty face is on the scene. So we who are stuck with average looks must keep plugging away at our workplaces, social and sporting clubs.

it’s a source of immense aggravation to me when people – who are either definitely attractive or definitely unattractive, rarely in-between (or maybe my depression-grey glasses are on) – say that ‘looks don’t matter.’ The attractive say looks don’t matter because they have those looks. (Like only the rich say – with that sleek smugness that makes you want to tear their faces off – ‘money doesn’t matter’.) The unattractive say looks don’t matter because they have to believe it.

Or the attractive may whine about people who only go after looks, and ‘no-one wants me for who I am.’ Ever heard of ‘what you win people with is what you win them to’? If you seek to attract your partner by your physical appearance, don’t expect them to go any deeper. If you dress and act like a trollop or a himbo, don’t think you’ll get much response from people who do look beneath the surface. That’s because these people won’t be very attractive, so have to use their personalities to attract. Of course, there are those people who seem to have it all – looks, brains, charm, character, money . Fortunately there’s not too many of them.

For the nth time, looks do matter; they always have, and they always will. On two bases, the logical and the practical. Regarding the former, a sense of aesthetics is something which we all have. Anyone can appreciate the beauty of a sunset (or sunrise, if you’re given to getting up that early), a painting, a stylish car – for me, aesthetically, the Maruti SX is the quintessential muscle car. To me, its lines are perfect. Others will disagree, and that’s fine. The point is, we all find certain things attractive, and other things unattractive. So to say that ‘looks don’t matter’ is to deny that innate sense of the aesthetic which we all have.
Unfortunately for me – and my fellow saplings from the ugly tree – physical beauty is the first quality that we notice about others. Obviously. You can’t notice someone’s sense of humour, or courtesy, or honesty at first glance.

Let’s take you – yes, you, the attractive person there। You see someone; you’re attracted to them. You want to get to know them, to see if they’re as good as they are smooch able. So you try to spend time with them. If it works out, Great. If it doesn’t, by that time there’s someone else on the scene to whom you’re attracted. It’s also a fact (substantiated by scientific studies) that physically attractive people are more likely to be perceived as more honest, hardworking, considerate, thoughtful, amusing – and so on – than are those who are not as good-looking.
The only way the aesthetically-challenged get a look in, is if they’re thrown into close or frequent proximity with the object of their interests. I recommend working with them, or joining the same club, rather than, say, stalking.

The concept of a good character I mentioned earlier, comes in here: no-one wants someone who won’t grant them the courtesy to say ‘No’. Love means acting for the beloved’s best interests, not ‘just wanting to be with them’.
Looks do matter, but love over-reaches them.

In my next life

In my next life I want to live my life backwards. You start out dead
and get that out of the way.
Then you wake up in an old people’s home
feeling better every day.
You get kicked out for being too healthy, go
collect your pension and then, when you start work, you get a gold watch
and a party on your first day.
You work for 40 years until you’re young
enough to enjoy your retirement.
You party, drink alcohol and are
generally promiscuous and then you are ready for high school.

You then go to primary school, you become a kid and you play.

You have no responsibilities; you become a baby until you are born; and then you
spend your last 9 months floating in luxurious spa-like conditions with
central heating and room service on tap, larger quarters every day and
then….. Voila! You finish off as an orgasm!

The Storm

The Storm
One day a young lady was driving along with her father. They came upon a storm The young lady asked her father what should she do, he said "keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was getting worse What should I do the young lady asked, "keep driving" her father replied. On up a few feet she noticed eighteen wheelers were pulling over also. She told her dad, I must pull over I can barely see ahead. It is terrible out here everyone is pulling over. Her father told her not to give up just keep driving. Now the storm was terrible but she never stopped driving and soon she could see a little clearer. After a couple of miles she was on dry land and the sun was out.. Her father said now pull over and get out. She said "but why now?" He said "get out look back, at all the people that gave up and are still in the storm". You never gave up and now your storm is over. I thought this was a testimony for anyone of
you who are going through something. Just because everyone else, even the ones that appear to be the largest and strongest gives up. You don't have to, because if you keep going, on up ahead your storm will soon be over and the sun will shine upon your face again.

I hope this touched someone because it did me.

She will make it greater

'Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater.

If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby.

If you give her a house, she'll give you a home.

If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal.

If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart.

She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit.'

Secret of happy married life

Once X asked Y, "What is the secret behind your happy married life?"

Y said, "You should share responsibilities with due love and respect to each other. Then absolutely there will be no problems."

X asked, "Can you explain?"

Y said, "In my house, I take decisions on bigger issues where as my

wife decides on smaller issues. We do not interfere in each other's decisions."

Still not convinced, X asked Y "Give me some examples"

Y said," Smaller issues like which car we should buy, how much amount to save, when to visit home town, which Sofa, air conditioner, refrigerator to buy, monthly expenses, whether to keep a maid or not etc are decided by my wife. I just agree to it"

X asked, "Then what is your role?"

Y said," My decisions are only for very big issues. Like whether America should attack Iran, whether Britain should lift sanction over Zimbabwe, whether to widen African economy, whether Sachin Tendulkar should retire etc etc. Do you know one thing, my wife NEVER objects to any of these".

Eik aisa rishta jura hai...

jaise kaali raath mein achanak roshni chaye
aise hi Woh humsay milay!"

Power To Change

Do not think that you are weak.
Stand up and reach all that you wanted to.
You can do anything and everything.

Believe in yourself.
All power is within you.
You've it all that is required to change the world around you.
Sabke chehre par who baat nahi hoti,
Thode se andhere se raat nahi hoti,
Zindagi me kuch log bahot pyaare hote hai,
Kya kare unhi se mulakat nahi hoti.

Do not think of what you do not have

Do not think of what you do not have;
Instead, appreciate what you have and can still have.

Do not think of things lost;
Instead, value what you still have and may yet find.

Do not cry over spilled milk;
Instead, rejoice in what was left.

Do not think of what you are not;
Instead, be humble with what you are and can still become.

Do not think of what others say you are;
Instead, concern yourself with what you affirm to be.

Do not think of the hours and days past;
Instead, look eagerly to times that are yet to come.

Do not think of what you failed to do;
Instead, think of those that you were able to do and can still best do.

Do not think of mistakes committed;
Instead, count the things you did right.

Do not think much of the pain you have caused;
Instead, plan for ways to make amends.

Do not think of the sufferings you now bear;
Instead, look to the comfort when relief draws near.

Do not consume yourself with thoughts of what could have been;
Instead, marvel at what has become and will become.

Do not be anxious to attain greater happiness;
Instead, content yourself with the little things which bring you bliss.

Do not aspire to fill your cup at once;
Instead, have the patience to do it little by little.

And if by chance you fail, do not fret over the empty part on top;
Instead, celebrate the space filled up.

Do not condemn nature when it is at its worst;
Instead, think of the times when it was at its best.

Do not blame luck for things you miss;
Instead, learn from things in which you have been remiss.

Nor should you curse luck or others for life's misfortunes;
Instead, accept them as part of life.

I say then, Live fully, die a little,
Learn much but question less.

Have just enough but give much more,
Be contented each time to crave much less.

Doubt less and affirm a lot,
Understand more, and be understood less.

Worry a little but hope you must,
Accept all, resist the least.

For all things happen,
In due time they must.

THE ART OF FORGIVING

The most creative power given to the human spirit is the power to heal the wounds of a past it cannot change.

We do our forgiving alone inside our hearts and minds; what happens to the people we forgive depends on them.

The first person to benefit from forgiving is the one who does it.

Forgiving happens it three stages: we rediscover the humanity of the person who wronged us; we surrender our right to get even; and we wish that person well.

Forgiving is a journey; the deeper the wound, the longer the journey.

Forgiving does not require us to reunite with the person who broke our trust.

We do not forgive because we are supposed to; we forgive when we are ready to be healed.

Waiting for someone to repent before we forgive is to surrender our future to the person who wronged us.

Forgiving is not a way to avoid pain but to heal the pain.

Forgiving someone who breaks a trust does not mean that we give him his job back.

Forgiving is the only way to be fair to ourselves.

Forgivers are not doormats; to forgive a person is not a signal that we are willing to put up with with what he does.

Forgiving is essential; talking about it is optional.

When we forgive, we set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner we set free is us.

When we forgive, we walk in stride with the forgiving God.

What have I done

Looking back on all those years I start to think..
Have I done as much as I can,
Have I worked as hard a s I could..
To help my fellow man….

Or Have I let others down,
Broken a few hearts along the way..
Have I taught them the difference between wrong and right?
Or have I mislead them, showed things they shouldn't do,

Is there more for me accomplish,
Other adventures to have,
More chances on the horizon,
Gambles left to take, friendships left to make,

New opportunities lay in tomorrow,
So there is always hope for another day,
Even when today has been swept away,
And we'll survive even if we have to beg, steal or borrow..

As another day is left behind,
Another memory left in the past,
So rest you troubled mind,
Because tomorrow may bring a brighter future
That will last,
If only we believe.....

Learn to Make Better Decisions

Be wise! Here are ten principles to guide you:
1. Never make permanent decisions based on temporary circumstances.
If you do, you'll regret it.
2. Don't let your emotions blind your reasoning.
Pray, weigh things carefully and base your decisions on mature judgment.
3. Surround yourself with sharp people and draw on their gifts, without being intimidated by their expertise.
4. Take the time to consider all options.
What looks good to you today may not look so good tomorrow.
5. You can't fight successfully on every front, so choose your battles carefully.
Simply stated: some things are not worth fighting for.
6. Take time to get all the facts; conjecture leads to crisis.
7. Consider the consequences of each action.
Ask yourself, "Am I ready to handle this right now?"
8. Make sure your expectations don't exceed your potential and your resources. Be realistic. If you can't count, don't apply for a job in the finance office. If you can't sing, don't try to make an album. Focus on what God gifted you to do. That's where you'll succeed.
9. Time is your most limited and valuable resource.
Don't waste it.
10. Allow yourself a 10% risk of being wrong, a 50% likelihood of betrayal, and a 100% commitment to trust God.
Go forward and survive it all.

Keep Going

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When cares are pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns.
And many a fellow turns about,
When he might have won, had he stuck it out.
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

99 club

Powerful Inspiring Story about Stress Relief Strategy: THE CLUB 99.. Must Read and Some time ago, there lived a King.This king should have been contented with his life, given all the riches and luxuries he had. However, this was not the case! The King always found himself wondering why he just never seemed content with his life.

Sure, he had the attention of everyone wherever he went, attended fancy dinners and parties, but somehow, he still felt something was lacking and he couldn't put his finger on it.

One day, the King had woken up earlier than usual to stroll around his palace. He entered his huge living room and came to a stop when he heard someone happily singing away... following this singing... he saw that one of the servants was singing and had a very contented look on his face.
This fascinated the King and he summoned this man to his chambers.

The man entered the King's chambers as ordered. The King asked why he was so happy?

To this the man replied: "Your Majesty, I am nothing but a servant, but I make enough of a living to keep my wife and children happy. We don't need too much, a roof over our heads and warm food to fill our tummy. My wife and children are my inspiration, they are content with whatever little I bring home. I am happy because my family is happy."

Hearing this, the King dismissed the servant and summoned his Personal Assistant to his chambers..

The King related his personal anguish about his feelings and then related the story of the servant to his Personal Assistant, hoping that somehow, he will be able to come up with some reasoning that here was a King who could have anything he wished for at a snap of his fingers and yet was not contented, whereas, his servant, having so little was extremely contented.

The Personal Assistant listened attentively and came to a conclusion. He said, "Your Majesty, I believe that the servant has not been made part of The 99 Club."
"The 99 Club? And what exactly is that?" the King inquired.

To which the Assistant replied, "Your Majesty, to truly know what The 99 Club is, you will have to do the following... place 99 Gold coins in a bag and leave it at this servant's doorstep, you will then understand what The 99 Club is."
That very same evening, the King arranged for 99 Gold coins to be placed in a bag at the servant's doorstep. Although he was slightly hesitant and he thought he should have put 100 Gold coins into the bag, but since his assistant had advised him to put 99 that is what he did.

The servant was just stepping out of his house when he saw a bag at his doorstep. Wondering about its contents, he took it into his house and opened the bag. When he opened the bag, he let out a great big shout of joy...Gold Coins... so many of them. He could hardly believe it. He called his wife to show her the coins.

He then took the bag to a table and emptied it out and began to count the coins. Doing so, he realized that there were 99 coins and he thought it was an odd number so he counted again, and again and again only to come to the same conclusion... 99 Gold Coins.

He began to wonder, what could have happened to that last 1 coin? For no one would leave 99 coins. He began to search his entire house, looked around his backyard for hours, not wanting to lose out on that one coin. Finally, exhausted, he decided that he was going to have to work harder than ever to make up for that 1 Gold coin to make his entire collection an even 100 Gold Coins.

He got up the next morning, in an extremely horrible mood, shouting at the children and his wife for his delay, not realizing that he had spent most of the night conjuring ways of working hard so that he had enough money to buy himself that gold coin. He went to work as usual - but not in his usual best mood, singing happily - as he grumpily did his daily errands.

Seeing the man's attitude change so drastically, the King was puzzled. He promptly summoned his assistant to his chambers. The King related his thoughts about the servant and once again, his assistant listened. The King could not believe that the servant who until yesterday had been singing away and was happy and content with his life had taken a sudden change of attitude, even though he should have been happier after receiving the gold coins.
To this the assistant replied "Ah! But your Majesty, the servant has now officially joined The 99 Club." He explained: "The 99 Club is just a name given to those people who have everything but yet are never contented, therefore they are always working hard and striving for that extra 1 to round it out to 100!
We have so much to be thankful for and we can live with very little in our lives, but the minute we are given something bigger and better, we want even more!

Lesson to learn from this Story:

We are not the same happy contented person we used to be, we want more and more and by wanting more and more we don't realize the price we pay for it.

We lose our sleep, our happiness; we hurt the people around us just as a price to pay for our growing needs and desires.

That is what joining The 99 Club is all about."

Hearing this the King decided that from that day onwards, he was going to start appreciating all the little things in life.

Striving for more is always good, but let's not strive so hard and for so much that we loses all those near and dear to our hearts, we shouldn't compromise our happiness for moments of luxuries!
Dont take some one for granted,Hold every person Close to your Heart because you might wake up one day and realize that you have lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones." Remember this always in life.

Affirmations for Forgiveness:

Affirmations for Forgiveness:

Today, I let go of my past and allow my memories to be healed. As I learn to love and accept myself, I find it easier to forgive. As I forgive and release, I am forgiven and released. Forgiveness brings me freedom and lightness. Forgiveness is a seed of happy and joyful life.

Today's Quote:

Don't blame. Practice acceptance and forgiveness instead. Accept what you have to deal with, and focus on channel your energies in a creative way.

Forgiveness

No doubt, at one time or another, you've been hurt. Most likely, someone you loved and trusted did something unthinkable. Perhaps it was so devastating that it changed your whole perspective on that person.
If that's the case, you have a choice! You can either wallow in self-pity, pain, and anger. Or you can forgive! Forgiveness is the act of giving up the resentment we have toward someone along with the desire to retaliate. It involves three important steps.
First, we must release the general feeling of resentment. That is, we must make a decision not to suffer in our pain. This can be difficult! Many people seem to enjoy holding on to self-pity or a sense of martyrdom. They may believe it's just their lot in life to suffer. But that's not true. You can choose to move past it.
Second, forgiveness means we must surrender specific feelings of resentment toward a particular individual. We must let go of our anger at being hurt, and seek to restore the broken relationship.
Third, we lay down all claims to revenge. You cannot forgive someone with your words while secretly wishing him or her harm. True forgiveness seeks the other person's good, not punishment.
Ephesians 4:30-32 urges us to “not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Someone with a forgiving attitude may say something like this: "Though you hurt me, I choose to forgive you! I won't dwell on this. And, I won't allow it to destroy my life or my attitude. I won't spend one minute plotting revenge. You are God's precious child. And I love you."
Truly forgiving another person carries a price. But without a doubt, the rewards are greater. Unleash the power of forgiveness in your life today!

Chahat Si Ho Gayi

Uske sath rehte-rehte chahat si ho gayi
usse baat karte- karte hamein aadat si ho gayi,
ek pal na miley to bechaini si lagti hai,
dosti nibhate-nibhate usse mohabat si ho gayi.

Sirf Chahne Se Kuch Hota Nahi Haasil,
Qayamat to Andaaz-e-Bayan Me Hoti Hai
Ishq Me Jab Waar Karti Hai Aankhe,
Tab Talware Bhi Aksar Mayan Me Hoti Hai....!!

wo jo humse pare-pare baithe hai,
hum un par mare baithe hai,
itna sunkar wo apne husn par itna garur na kare,
kyoki jo usne bhi pare baithe hai
hum un par bhi mare baithe hai
mit gaye hai sab zakhm,
bas nishaan baaki reh gaya,
saza puri ho gayi,
karna gunaah baaki reh gaya.
wo aankho me ashq liye bethe hai,
hum bhi unke pyaar pagal hue bethe hai,
hum to jaan dene ko bhi tayyar hai,
magar vo hamari jaan bane bethe hai....
phool jab chune humne chaman se
khusboo sab ne udhaar maange
magar jab kaanto ka dard saha
koi humdard hume na mila
saagar ke seene se moti jo uthaya
hissa sabme humne baant diye
magar jab ghir gaye toofano se
door tak koi saahil nazar na aaya
zindagi bitayi humne ibadat me
duao me sabko shaamil kiya

Waqt Rootha raha Bachche ki tarah Raah me koi Khilona na mila
Dosti bhi to Nibhaai na gayi Dushmani me bhi Adaawat na hoi

GRATITUDE

Have we mentioned the gratitude journal before?
Just before bed, take a moment to write down something that you are thankful for during the day.
It might be something special that happened.
It might be something mundane that happens every day, without which life would be
harder.
It might even be a crisis that didn’t happen.
It could be something you saw happen to other people, and you are grateful it did
not happen to you or your loved ones.

If you go to be feeling good about life, you are more likely to sleep well and wake up the next day feeling good about life.
So set yourself up for a good night’s sleep and a happy day ahead with a bedtime
gratitude journal.
