What have I done

Looking back on all those years I start to think..
Have I done as much as I can,
Have I worked as hard a s I could..
To help my fellow man….

Or Have I let others down,
Broken a few hearts along the way..
Have I taught them the difference between wrong and right?
Or have I mislead them, showed things they shouldn't do,


Is there more for me accomplish,
Other adventures to have,
More chances on the horizon,
Gambles left to take, friendships left to make,

New opportunities lay in tomorrow,
So there is always hope for another day,
Even when today has been swept away,
And we'll survive even if we have to beg, steal or borrow..


As another day is left behind,
Another memory left in the past,
So rest you troubled mind,
Because tomorrow may bring a brighter future
That will last,
If only we believe.....
